Ep. 1: Junichi Tachibana pursues Haruka Morishima after a past rejection

Two years ago, on Christmas Eve, protagonist Junichi Tachibana was stood up by an unknown girl, leaving him heartbroken. He attends school with his best friend Masayoshi and encounters Haruka Morishima, the prettiest girl and one year older, in the cafeteria. They become acquaintances and meet again at the library, where she calls him cute, prompting Junichi to resolve to make her his girlfriend. The following day, Haruka joins Junichi and his male friends in playing leap frog. Later, they meet at the school fountain and begin to flirt. Junichi confesses his feelings, but Haruka turns him down.
