After collapsing upon seeing Toma, the heroine is discharged from the hospital where he provides her with a replacement phone. The following morning, she discovers a trash-filled mailbox that is subsequently emptied by Toma. The couple confirms their relationship in an alley, secures leave from her job, and visits his home. That night, Ukyo appears to warn the heroine that she will die soon, but Toma intervenes and drives him away. The heroine stays at his place, and they share an intimate moment before deciding to go shopping. While the heroine purchases drinks, a fan of Ikki cuts her hair, and two more fans approach to confront her angrily.
