Yuri's Operation High Tension Syndrome Fails as Angel Leads SSS to a Garden
Dec 22, 2010Positioned between episodes four and five, Yuri commands the SSS to feign excessive joy under "Operation High Tension Syndrome." She believes Angel will guide them to God, threatening a week-long fast if the plan fails. The group disperses with artificial enthusiasm, while a tension meter tracks their excitement levels during various activities. The day culminates in a sports festival that includes NPCs. Yuri monitors the operation until Angel intervenes following Shiina's disruption. Angel proceeds to report, leading the SSS to an underground greenhouse they assume houses God. Instead, they discover a regular garden maintained by Angel. Frustrated by the lack of divine presence, Yuri enforces the fasting penalty, leaving the SSS to starve.

SSS members face deadly traps during a picnic while Hisako transforms into a monster
Jun 24, 2015Occurring between episodes two and three during Golden Week, Yuri organizes a lethal picnic for the SSS where members attempt to eliminate one another using traps and gadgets. Most boys succumb to these dangers, leaving only Otonashi alive. Meanwhile, Girls Dead Monster members Miyuki and Shiori try to trap Iwasawa, but she survives every attempt without realizing the danger. When they deploy their final trap, a dangerous concoction, it accidentally lands on Hisako. This causes her to transform into a blood-thirsty monster that Angel is unable to stop.
