In 1625, an 18-year-old named D'Artagnan arrives in Paris and quickly offends three musketeers: Porthos, Aramis, and Athos. Rather than fighting, they face a group of the Cardinal's guards, during which D'Artagnan's bravery is revealed. The four form a bond and travel through France and England to stop Cardinal Richelieu's schemes. They meet a young spy known as Milady, who seeks to humiliate Queen Anne of Austria in front of Louis XIII and exact revenge on the four.
