Mechtavius Destroyer annihilates Bakugan City, killing Runo, Julie, Mira, and Kato, then targets New Vestroia. Past-season Bakugan attempt to stop him but are defeated and killed. In the Doom Dimension, Worton explains the Current of Time, having previously warned Balista to hide secrets from Wiseman to survive. The Brawlers enter the current, witnessing visions of Betadron’s fate and the destruction of Vestal, Gundalia, and Neathia. They realize Fabia, Nurzak, Ren, Spectra, Ace, Baron, and other allies are next on his hit list. Worton and Betadron sacrifice themselves to help the Brawlers escape the Doom Dimension. They arrive before Mechtavius Destroyer departs for Bakugan City, declaring his impending defeat as the final battle begins.
