Iwase loses confidence as +Natural's ratings drop to 15th place, prompting her to quit writing after Miura criticizes her story. Mashiro visits Iwase, reminding her she is Takagi's driving force, and Team Fukuda's support restores her resolve. Sasaki transfers to another magazine, visiting Nizuma and Ashirogi Muto to acknowledge his favoritism toward Mashiro and Takagi due to a promise to her late uncle, Nobuhiro. Nizuma shows Yujiro a zombie-themed storyboard, which Yujiro praises as superior to CROW. Meanwhile, Mashiro and Takagi finalize plans for PCP's successor, choosing the standard battle archetype. Their new manga features two demonic protagonists with differing ideals fighting for Justice. Recognizing this fit for Shonen Manga, Ashirogi Muto decide to challenge Nizuma's upcoming Zombie Manga with their Demonic Manga.
