Hattori meets the Reversi anime staff as production begins. Mashiro tells Miyoshi he will propose to Azuki after the premiere and thanks her for the pen name Ashirogi Muto. Miyoshi departs, leaving Mashiro and Takagi to reflect on their progress. Azuki shares her plans with her mother, while Mashiro reads his uncle's diary. Following the anime's debut, Mashiro picks up Azuki, honoring his late uncle's dream, and they reminisce. He then recreates their first meeting at her former home before proposing. Azuki kisses him and promises forever. At Hiramaru and Aoki's wedding, Azuki catches the bouquet. The couple moves into Azuki's old house, planning a formal wedding if their next work is serialized. Mashiro concludes that dreams require personal effort to become reality.
