Ep. 2: Tamaki shares meals with new club members while honoring her parents through her lunch
Aired on October 9, 2007

Tamaki’s drive is inspired by her television hero, Blade Braver. Miyako Miyazaki, Yūji Nakata, and Danjūrō Eiga become members of the club. As the group begins eating lunch together, their bonds strengthen through the exchange of boxed meals. Tamaki’s daily lunch traditionally contains only rice and a single umeboshi, prepared to honor her deceased parents, making it difficult for her to share with others. By the end of the episode, she decides to prepare more varied lunches that can be shared, despite feeling that this change might slightly disrespect her parents' memory. This shift marks a significant step in her integration with the club members.
