Ep. 19: Ryusuke kidnapped by Sykes meets bluesman John Lee Davis and survives jam session

Sykes kidnaps Ryusuke, Beck, and Lucille to meet bluesman John Lee Davis, who seeks the thief of Lucille. Ryusuke, a fan of Davis, performs a jam session that impresses his idol, leading Davis to spare Ryusuke’s life despite Sykes’ initial intent to kill him. Four days after the abduction, Ryusuke is returned to Taira and Chiba severely beaten but alive, while Sykes retains custody of Beck and Prudence. Meanwhile, Koyuki and Saku, who were managing the fishing pond, are visited by Kazuo Sato, a manager of the Greatful Sound Festival. Sato is thrilled to meet Koyuki after watching his performance in the Dying Breed’s tour movie. Later, Koyuki and Maho appear on the silver screen, showcasing their musical talents to a wider audience.
