Ep. 22: Band prepares lyrics and faces stage challenges at the Greatful Sound Festival
Aired on March 3, 2005

The group refines their new track while Koyuki drafts lyrics at Ryusuke’s behest. Saito assists, and his verses prove more popular than Koyuki’s, prompting Ryusuke to rewrite the song in English. The band travels to the Greatful Sound grounds for a performance on the smallest of three stages. Ryusuke informs Chiba and Taira that Sykes will control rights and promotion for future releases. He adds a condition: Sykes must abandon the theft of Beck and Lucille if the band achieves the highest attendance. Koyuki and Yoshito wager that if Maho attends Yoshito’s show, Koyuki must give up on him. Koyuki attempts to perform for a foreign band but is booed off stage due to his poor English skills.
