Saitou’s wire cutters, brought from his previous life, break during their journey. He asks Dohnbain, a dwarf, to repair the tools. Later, unable to stop thinking about the golem they previously defeated, Saitou decides to investigate further. He joins the rest of his party to enter the great labyrinth. This expedition is driven by Saitou’s lingering curiosity regarding the defeated creature and the need to ensure their equipment is functional for the dangerous environment ahead.
