Guts and his companions reach Morgan's village but encounter a hostile reception. Despite the unwelcoming atmosphere, Guts uses his sharp intellect to secure their temporary stay. However, the brief peace is shattered when trolls launch a massive assault on the settlement. The attackers arrive in significantly larger numbers than any previous encounter, posing a severe threat to the inhabitants. This sudden escalation forces the group to confront a much more dangerous enemy than before, turning their refuge into a battleground for survival against the demonic legion.
