Before the upcoming title match, Ekusu and Bird take a day off and travel to Bird's hometown to experience a change of scenery. While there, Bird teaches local children how to beyblade. Their former teammates, Tsuru and Suzuki, observe these interactions from a distance. Through watching Bird's engagement with the kids, the two former partners realize that Bird has undergone significant personal changes since their time together as teammates.
