Momiji, the God of Misfortune, descends to Earth to address Ichiko Sakura, a high school student with abnormally high good fortune that drains those around her. After Ichiko resists Momiji’s initial attempt to normalize her luck, her butler Suwano suffers a critical heart attack due to years of fortune depletion. Ichiko permits Momiji to extract her excess luck, but she redirects the energy to the hospital, successfully saving Suwano. She then dismisses him to allow him to live independently. A week later, Ichiko’s fortune levels return to their previous state, and Momiji also returns.
