Momiji summons the masochistic dog god Momo'o Inugami, who transforms into a puppy to approach Ichiko and steal her fortune. Momo'o struggles to remove the fortune and observes that Ichiko behaves differently when reading letters from Suwano. He activates a Misfortune Item, causing the box of letters to fall and be discarded by cleaners. Ichiko spends the entire night searching the trash dump for the box, surprising Momo'o. He retrieves the box for her, leading him to reconsider his opinion of her character. However, his cover is blown when he reverts to human form, resulting in swift punishment from Ichiko.
