Beryl partially awakens Queen Metalia and tasks Zoisite with locating the human reincarnations of the Seven Great Monsters to obtain their Rainbow Crystals, which are fragments of the Silver Crystal. Concurrently, the tomboyish Makoto Kino transfers into Usagi's school and develops a crush on a skilled crane-game player at the arcade, a target of Zoisite. During these events, Makoto is revealed to be Sailor Jupiter.
