In the ensuing chaos, Mamoru recognizes his identity as Tuxedo Mask and accidentally drops a locket. Usagi later discovers this item on the ground. The episode highlights the group's efforts to lift Naru's spirits while simultaneously advancing Mamoru's self-awareness regarding his secret alter ego and introducing a mysterious object that connects him to Usagi.
