Minako attempts to lift Usagi's spirits by taking her to a hairdresser. During their visit, the pair is attacked by a monster who mistakenly identifies Minako as Sailor Moon. Tuxedo Mask arrives, appearing alive and unharmed, but introduces himself as Endymion. His actions suggest he is fighting on behalf of the Dark Kingdom, leaving Usagi deeply confused about his true nature and intentions.
