Ep. 12: Jiro defeats Zaza and Cassa while revealing his vampire origins and Kotaro's true identity.
Jiro saves Mimiko from Zaza, heals by drinking her blood, and defeats Zaza before confronting Cassa. Sei clears the path for Jiro, who explains that he and Kotaro entered the Special Zone so Kotaro could make friends. Jiro reveals Alice Eve, the Sage, turned him and is now reborn as Kotaro; Jiro must protect her until she matures. Jiro defeats Yafuri and Zaza, then engages Cassa in a rain-weakened battle where they both survive. Cassa escapes, and Sei seals the Special Zone. Mimiko wakes to find Kotaro paid her rent. Jinnai admits he bombed Mimiko’s apartment to keep Jiro in the zone and offers old warehouse housing. He explains the Eleventh Yard holds the Kowloon king’s ashes, which Cassa sought to resurrect. Jinnai states Jiro killed the king previously and must now protect the zone alone. The trio begins their first assignment, with Mimiko trusting Jiro despite his somber demeanor.
