EP 2Mimiko rescues Jiro and Kotaro at the beach before vampires attack
Sep 15, 2006Mimiko is sent to a beach for an investigation and discovers Jiro and Kotaro washed ashore, saving them. She agrees to guide them to the Special Zone. Kelly Wong and Johan Tsang, two vampires from the past, approach the group, demanding Jiro’s assistance against the Suppression team. During the confrontation, Kelly is shot in the arm, prompting Johan to help her flee. Jiro acts as a decoy to distract the Suppression team, allowing Kotaro to escape safely. However, Jiro is subsequently captured by the Suppression team while Kotaro succeeds in getting away.

Sep 22, 2006Kotaro joins Johan and Kelly to locate Jiro, who is detained by Suppression Team leader Badrick. Badrick intends to eliminate all refugees, suspecting one is a Kowloon Child. In Chinatown, Kelly tells Mimiko that drinking her blood would have helped Jiro escape earlier. Mimiko clarifies that Kowloon Children differ from other vampires by killing their victims and turning others through blood. Chan appears before Kotaro as a Kowloon Child while Rinsuke frees Jiro. The Suppression Team attacks the refugees again. Johan is revealed to be the Kowloon Child who has infected the remaining refugees. Jiro attempts to rescue Kotaro and Mimiko. Johan kidnaps Kotaro, Chan, and Kelly's friends, who have all become Kowloon Children.

At the office, leaders of the three Bloodlines, former vampire hunter Jinnai, Kain, and the OCC president gather. Kain demands August's punishment, while Jinnai and Sei oppose Jiro's presence in the zone. Zelman offers to accept Jiro. Kotaro interrupts the meeting to report Jiro has left. Kain orders the Suppression Team to stop him, citing secrecy regarding old blood conflicts. Jinnai tasks Mimiko with finding Jiro to prevent commotion. The discussion shifts to Kowloon Children, with Sei noting the barrier prevents their exit. Zelman receives a call from Sayuka, who confirms August was bitten by a Kowloon Child. Kain orders gear changes for fighting them. Jiro assaults the mansion, impaling vampires. Mimiko and Kotaro arrive, but August, now a Kowloon Child, attacks Mimiko. EP 10Cassa holds Mimiko captive while Zaza threatens the OCC with a bomb
Nov 10, 2006Cassa, disguised as Kelly Wong, keeps Mimiko hostage to reunite with Jiro, while Rinsuke falls under Kain’s hypnosis. Kotaro and Zelman rescue Mimiko before Cassa can transform her into a Kowloon child, with Hibari revealing Jiro’s location. Cassa departs after a battle with Zelman, leaving a warning about the Coven. The Company discovers that vampires rescued by the Suppression team are actually Kowloon children spreading infection through blood packs linked to Mimiko’s findings. Meanwhile, Zaza confronts Sei, demanding the Eleventh Yard’s location under threat of destroying the OCC building with a hidden bomb. Zelman kills Coven members identified as Kowloon children. Yafuri and Zaza search for Cassa but are attacked by Kain. Meanwhile, Kotaro persuades Mimiko to speak with Jiro about living in the Special Zone. Jiro finds Kotaro but still wishes to leave. Kain chases Yafuri and Zaza but is halted by Cassa. Mimiko eventually convinces Jiro to stay. Zaza then appears as a Kowloon child and shoots Jiro multiple times. Jiro falls into the river, where Zaza jumps in and stabs him repeatedly. Mimiko enters the water to save Jiro's life.

Jinnai states Jiro killed the king previously and must now protect the zone alone. The trio begins their first assignment, with Mimiko trusting Jiro despite his somber demeanor.
