Ep. 123: Secre Recalls the Elf Massacre and the Origin of the Five Leaf Grimoire

While the Black Bulls depart to investigate demons and clear Asta's name, Secre remembers her history with Lumiere. They crafted the first magic tools and met Licht, discovering their shared four leaf Grimoires. After Licht married Tetia, the group aimed for equality until the Devil Zagred arrived. He exploited royal greed to orchestrate a massacre using Light Magic stored in a tool made from elf stones. This process created a five leaf Grimoire, forcing Lumiere to kill the transformed Licht. Secre sealed Zagred and saved Lumiere by turning him into a statue, but she became an Anti-bird due to forbidden magic. She later found hope sensing a power capable of defeating Zagred on the day Asta and Yuno were left at the orphanage.
