Ep. 168: Asta meets Nacht who reveals his devil powers and plans to rescue Yami from the Spade Kingdom.

Owen is shocked by Gauche’s recovery, suggesting her magic may not be Transformation. Asta discovers Yami’s katana in his Grimoire and attempts to leave the hospital, but is intercepted by Nacht, the secret Vice Captain of the Black Bulls who possesses a devil. Nacht offers to train Asta in controlling his devil power and introduces him to his devil, Gimodelo. He discloses his long-term espionage within the Spade Kingdom and summons an emergency Captains meeting. When unrecognized leaders attack, Nacht reveals he commands four devils. He announces a seven-day ceremony to sacrifice Yami and Vangeance, proposing a two-day rescue mission led by an elite team. Nacht coerces Yuno into revealing his Spade royalty, causing distrust until Yuno’s speech and Bell’s mana preparation restore confidence. Nacht also notes Vanica may have attacked the Heart Kingdom. Meanwhile, Noelle wakes in a Strong Magic Region with former Eye of the Midnight Sun members Patry, Rhya, Fana, and Vetto.
