Ep. 94: Asta confronts Rhya while Licht betrays the Midnight Sun and initiates the resurrection ritual.
Yami fails to stop Licht from retrieving the stones and escaping through a portal. Rhya attempts to kill Mereoleona with a self-destruct spell, but Asta nullifies it after recognizing its similarity to spells used by Vetto and Fana. Asta questions the Midnight Sun’s hatred of humans and advocates for peace, mirroring the Wizard King’s ideals. Rhya notes Asta’s resemblance to Licht. Julius deduces the stones serve a purpose beyond mere power, as Licht alone could have destroyed the kingdom. Julius passes his dream of a better world to Yami and other magic knights before dying. Yuno encounters an elf-like mage and notices a black sword. Licht exposes Rades, Sally, and Valtos, revealing the stones sacrifice humans to fuel resurrection rather than grant power. As Licht places the stones in a tablet, light engulfs the kingdom. Rhya transforms into an elf, and the figure in the light sphere awakens while Yuno begins his own elf transformation.
