Assisted by Hanatarou, Ichigo and Ganju move toward Rukia's location. Renji confronts the pair, leading Ichigo to initiate a battle. During the fight, Renji explains that his current strength is five times greater than their previous encounter as a Soul Reaper. He notes that Soul Reapers face power restrictions when entering the World of the Living, which limits their abilities in that realm. This confrontation occurs within the Soul Society: The Sneak Entry arc, specifically identified as episode 10 out of a total of 21 episodes in the series.
