Chad and Orihime attempt to stop Ichigo from attacking Tsukishima, believing he has lost his mind. The conflict moves outdoors, where Ginjou faces difficulties with Shishigawara’s punches during a confrontation with his peers. As Tsukishima is about to slash the overwhelmed Ichigo, Ginjou intercepts the blow. Although seemingly unharmed, Ginjou is suddenly confronted by Uryu, who accuses Ginjou rather than Tsukishima. Before Ichigo can react, Ginjou strikes him down, explaining that he allowed himself to be slashed twice to restore his original form. He then stabs Ichigo with his sword, declaring his intention to seize Ichigo’s Fullbring.
