Ep. 3: Rizu Hides Her Cut Fringe Behind a Mask While Sawako Reflects on Her Friendship

After accidentally cutting her fringe, Rizu hides the damage behind a mask, leading Nariyuki to mistakenly believe it is revenge for seeing her in the bath. When Fumino removes the mask, Nariyuki fails to notice the change, upsetting Rizu until he correctly guesses her happy expression. Later, Sawako takes Rizu shopping for a pencil case but redirects her to date spots with Nariyuki, reflecting on how Rizu’s indifference to classmates’ opinions inspired her to attend the same high school. Nariyuki confronts Sawako about her plans, prompting her to admit her admiration for Rizu, which Rizu overhears. Delighted by the praise, Rizu asks Sawako to continue shopping, causing Sawako to trip and expose her panties to Nariyuki.
