Ep. 4: Rizu’s Makeover Fails and Nariyuki’s English Struggles with Uruka

Rizu visits Ms. Karasuma’s salon for a makeover before meeting a boy, but Nariyuki fails to recognize her, assuming she is a stranger flirting with him. Although Rizu believes the changes improved their bond, Nariyuki only praises her study skills after mistaking her for a classmate, which angers her. She invites him home, where he intends to lecture her parents but finally realizes her identity after encountering her furious father. In a separate incident, Nariyuki forces Uruka to speak only English to boost her confidence. While playing with a puppy, he accidentally sees her underwear, leading to an awkward defense of his honor. Later, when two English men invite Uruka to a party, Nariyuki’s poor pronunciation makes it sound like she is his girlfriend, causing Uruka to flee in embarrassment.
