The inaugural Five Kage Summit following the Ootsutsuki Clan attack takes place in the Hidden Leaf Village. Current and former Kage gather, with the exception of the Third Tsuchikage, Oonoki. Boruto and Team 7 are tasked with security duties during the event. Boruto becomes bored and lowers his guard, leading to an unexpected encounter with Oonoki. This segment marks the beginning of the Mitsuki's Disappearance Arc, specifically the first part out of twenty-two. The narrative focuses on the security lapse and the surprising meeting between the ninja team and the missing Tsuchikage amidst the high-stakes diplomatic summit.
