In a post-disaster world, Hime Utsumiya and her siblings witness a Plate spawn a Brain Powerd. Yuu Isami and Kanan Gimms of the Reclaimers confront them using Grand Cher units. Yuu is stunned by Hime’s effortless control, contradicting his parents' claims aboard the spacecraft Orphan. One year later, Yuu leaves Orphan and rises to the surface in a Brain Powerd, pursued by his sister Quincy.
