Three years have passed since the collapse of Neo Kyoto, a city that has changed completely. The King's messengers, known as KUGE, are spreading throughout the area. A girl runs from them, refusing to fight back despite being attacked. Until three years ago, she was considered the strongest girl in Neo Kyoto. Now cornered and desperate, another girl appears wearing a hood. She states, "It's been three years... I finally found you," and holds out her hand. This newcomer is Hiyori, Teruto's apprentice. The scene highlights the contrast between the former strongest girl's current vulnerability and Hiyori's sudden arrival in the transformed city.
