Shin transports Aichi, Kamui, and Kai to the regional tournament site, naming the squad Quadrifoglio, or Q4. During the ride, the pair adjust Aichi's deck. Upon arrival, they view a promotional video featuring Ultra Rare, a pop idol trio consisting of Kourin, Rekka, and Suiko, whom Aichi previously encountered at Card Shop PSY. Following an encounter with Team Handsome, officials announce that Team Q4 will face Team Black Magic in the opening round. This opponent comprises three dark-robed men named Kurosawa, Kurogane, and Kuroki. Due to Misaki's absence, Aichi must compete in the first match. Utilizing special Vanguard gloves and the Motion Figure System, Aichi battles Kurosawa, who employs the Kagero clan. Kurosawa rides Demonic Dragon Berserker, Yaksha, retiring Aichi's rear-guards. Realizing Alfred's limitations, Aichi deploys all hand cards, including Knight of Truth, Gordon, to establish a strong field presence.
