Ren explains Psyqualia, noting Kai only respects strong fighters, and gives Aichi a Shadow Paladin deck. Aichi perceives the deck's power through Psyqualia, feeling invincible. Kourin challenges him, believing he is arrogant. Aichi defeats Kourin easily using Blaster Dark and his new Shadow Paladins, showcasing the terrifying nature of Psyqualia. Ren watches from the shadows, smiling as he encourages Aichi to embrace this new dark power.
