Ep. 33: Chrono Challenges Shion to a Cardfight to Persuade Him to Return to Vanguard

Chrono and Tokoha try to convince Shion to keep playing Vanguard, but he refuses due to Kiba family duties and a desire for seriousness. With butler Iwakura’s assistance, Chrono sneaks into Shion’s residence and issues a cardfight challenge. During the match, Chrono accuses Shion of avoiding his past loss to Shouma. Shion recalls his belief in his own potential and ultimately achieves a long-awaited victory over Chrono. Following this win, Shion decides to resume playing Vanguard and rejoins Team TRY3, overcoming his previous hesitation and familial obligations.
