Cardfight!! Vanguard G

Chrono Shindou is a middle school student who appears intimidating but is actually kind and well-liked by children. One day, he discovers an unknown Cardfight deck called Gear Chronicle in his locker. He brings it to a local store called Card Capital 2, where he meets Kamui Katsuragi. Kamui teaches him how to play, leading Chrono to form friendships and rivalries through the game. He eventually meets future teammates Shion Kiba and Tokoha Anjou.
