Following the reunion of Team TRY3, Kouji explains that the United Sanctuary Branch employs rigorous training to enhance cardfighters, who join voluntarily. Despite the trio's opposition to these methods, Kanzaki chooses to battle them alone. During the confrontation, he argues his perspective and recounts a past encounter that shaped his current elitist mindset, specifically referencing a "miracle card." Kanzaki ultimately defeats TRY3. It is later disclosed that his true objective involves utilizing the branch's harsh training regimen to recreate the conditions necessary for the miracle card to appear again, allowing him to claim it.
