Ep. 9: Kenji Faces Rati Curti in a Cardfight Before Quatre Knights Reveal Themselves

Misaki and Kamui wait at an airport for Kenji to return from his travels, hoping to learn about Gaillard and Neve. They assist a lost foreign girl named Rati Curti by buying her doughnuts before reuniting with Kenji and Raul Serra. Rati challenges Kenji to a cardfight, prompting spectators to note that both she and Serra are world-class cardfighters, leading Misaki and Kamui to suspect a connection to Gaillard and Neve. During the match, Rati uses her Shadow Paladin Witch deck to weaken Kenji’s rear-guards. After Rati deals 5 damage to Kenji, Serra departs, believing Rati has won, which causes Kamui to follow him. Kenji attempts a comeback using Ultimate Dimensional Robo, Great Daikaiser and its Limit Break for an additional drive check, but Rati defends herself and secures victory with a Legion attack. Following a brief phone call by Kenji, Rati and Serra reveal themselves as Quatre Knights, creating fight fields to trap Misaki and Kamui for battle.
