Mar 9, 2014Following the Link Joker incident, Kai visits Card Capital and Miyaji Academy, only to find that no one remembers Aichi or the Cardfight Club. Believing Aichi has been erased, Kai laments in the club room until a Royal Paladin deck with a new Blaster Blade appears. Naoki stops Kai, seemingly reverted to his pre-Vanguard self, prompting Kai to challenge him to a match to restore his memories. At Card Capital, Misaki provides Naoki with a Narukami trial deck. As they play, Kai uses Blaster Blade Seeker, which triggers Naoki’s recollection of everything, including Aichi. The two vow to find him. Misaki, showing signs of remembering Aichi, accepts Kai’s challenge to finish their fight. In a post-credits scene, Aichi is seen sitting on a throne elsewhere.

Inside, Gaillard uses Aichi's Gold Paladin deck, claiming to have inherited Aichi's will. Despite Kai's efforts, Gaillard defeats him, passing Judgment and inflicting direct damage. Gaillard asserts that he has instilled fear in Kai and warns that he and the other three Quatre Knights will continue attacking Kai and his friends to prevent them from finding Aichi, who is in a deep slumber. Meanwhile, Misaki and Naoki encounter Phillip Neve, one of the Quatre Knights, who is playing with cats including the Assista-cat in a park. Neve reveals his intent to stop them from finding Aichi and accepts Naoki's challenge rather than fighting Misaki. Neve creates the Steel Wall Prison field for their cardfight. Naoki gains an advantage using Legion with Brawler, Big Bang Knuckle Dragon, and Big Bang Slash Dragon, destroying most of Neve's rear-guards. However, Neve counters with his own Legion using Metal Borg, Sin Buster, and Uru Buster, blocking Naoki's perfect guard. This results in Naoki's defeat and direct damage from the prison. Kai arrives to stop Misaki from challenging Neve. After Neve departs, the trio visits Hitsue High School and finds a wounded Miwa, who was attacked by another Quatre Knight.
