Aki is stabbed by Kobeni while protecting Denji. Denji enters the Eternity Devil and attacks it, but fails to kill it. His chainsaw power fades due to excessive blood loss. He restores his strength by eating the devil's flesh and drinking its blood. Denji then resumes his fight. Himeno watches Denji and recalls the saying that devil hunters feared by devils are those with a few screws loose.
