A violent confrontation occurs between Denji and the dangerous Samurai Sword. Despite Denji taking one of the enemy's allies hostage, Samurai Sword attacks both individuals, resulting in Denji's capture. Concurrently, Makima, who appeared to have died, is revealed to be alive. She begins a mission to save Denji, enlisting the assistance of Public Safety Devil Hunters from Kyoto named Kurose and Tendo. This sequence highlights the immediate aftermath of the battle and the subsequent rescue efforts initiated by Makima with her new partners.
