Following the death of Yui, Takuru’s family attempts to recover from the tragedy. Kurusu makes a shocking admission to Takuru, revealing that she has been hiding something from him since they first met. She is determined to do anything necessary to find the killer. Her investigation is progressing rapidly, and she is getting very close to uncovering the truth behind the events that led to Yui's demise.
