Eriko Odawara, known as Odaeri, grows weary of her daily Nekonyan Dance routine and skips a scheduled daycare appearance in Choco's neighborhood. She encounters Makoto, who is strongly implied to be the gravure idol Arisa Otokami, as both names are acronyms. This interaction helps Eriko realize the genuine significance of her work. Following this realization, she visits Choco's apartment to perform the Nekonyan Dance privately, reaffirming her commitment to her role as an idol.
