City Hunter: Angel Dust

This film marks the 35th anniversary of the City Hunter TV anime. Ryou Saeba, a top private detective and sweeper in the underworld, works in Shinjuku alongside his partner Kaoru Makimura. They are hired by Angie, a filmmaker, to find her missing cat. Ryou is drawn to Angie's appearance, while Kaoru is interested in the generous payment. At the same time, Saeko Nogami from the Metropolitan Police is looking into a biotech company's invention that enhances soldiers. This new version of Angel Dust is linked to a past incident that nearly killed Ryou and led to his partner's death. The two cases may be connected, as Angie's request hides more than she reveals. The truth behind Angel Dust leads Ryou toward a confrontation tied to his beginnings as a sweeper.
