During the school sports day, Shin-chan initially marches correctly but soon forgets his steps, causing all the other students to become confused and follow his lead. Before the parent-child race begins, the children take a break. When Misae and Shin-chan start their race, Shin-chan ends up ruining the event. Later, in an interclass relay race, Shin-chan competes against Kawamura and manages to win the race. Following this victory, the Sunflower group praises Shin-chan for his performance.
