Hiroshi and Shin-chan stop at a petrol station to refuel, where Shin-chan harasses the attendant until she is fired. Meanwhile, Shin-chan's grandfather delivers watermelons to the house, and Misae and Hiroshi also bring watermelons home. The entire family shares the fruit for dinner. Afterward, they participate in a game to see who can break a watermelon. Shin-chan successfully breaks the watermelon, winning the competition against his family members.
