Islanders treat the withered cherry blossom tree as major news while Yoshiyuki realizes Anzu lost her memory due to its power loss. Otome avoids him after stopping the tree, causing his existence to be erased from most minds. Nanaka briefly recognizes him before others forget him completely. Yume attempts to boost his morale by cooking for him. Ultimately, Yoshiyuki departs from Kazami Academy after his friends fail to remember him.
