Ep. 10: Yoshiyuki dreams of Sakura's past and convinces Otome to wither the magical cherry blossom tree.

Otome maintains distance from Yoshiyuki while researching the cherry blossom tree. Yoshiyuki searches for her until nightfall and learns from Yume about Jun'ichi's absence before falling asleep. In the dream, Sakura explains her past study of magical sakura trees in America. She reveals that everyone she knew in Hatsune-Jima moved on, leaving her lonely. To endure this, she wished for a family, and her artificial cherry blossom tree granted this by creating Yoshiyuki as her son. He calls her "Mom" for the first time. Yoshiyuki confesses his happiness to Otome and convinces her to use her magic to wither the tree, succeeding in his request. Yume witnesses the scene at the end.
