Ep. 21: Kirito trains with Dr. Mummy while NICS investigates Detector economic threats and new LBX powers.
Kirito battles Ban and Hiro in a simulation designed by Dr. Mummy, defeating Elysion and Perseus before facing a new challenge. Meanwhile, NICS members in N City analyze Detector activity, concluding the group aims to trigger an economic crisis. Secretary Kaios assigns fighters to develop special training, while Otacross searches the Infinity Net and Takuya and Cobra investigate the Detectors. The team also seeks to understand their LBX's new abilities, leading Otacross to subject them to ten physical and teamwork tests. He then battles them with his new Perfect ZX4, which is 400 times stronger than the Perfect ZX3, prompting the group to unlock their special modes. Concurrently, Dr. Mummy has Kirito fight his LBX Killer, which easily destroys Kirito's custom Joker Kirito. Dr. Mummy laughs and announces plans to reveal his Killer Droid to the world.
