Ep. 10: Shido wakes from a dream about a past event and confronts the situation involving Kotori and the Spirit.

Kurumi immobilizes Kotori with her skills, creating copies to shoot her, but Kotori’s healing ability prevents death. When Kurumi orders her copies to kill Shido, Kotori shields him, destroying the duplicates. During the intense battle, Kurumi temporarily inhibits Kotori, but the Spirit retaliates by shooting at Kurumi, who summons copies for protection. Shido attempts to reason with Kotori to spare Kurumi, but she ignores him, leading Shido to realize she is no longer herself. He positions himself in front of Kurumi to shield her from the incoming shot. Kotori suddenly regains consciousness and deflects the attack. Shido awakens on Fraxinus after dreaming of an event from five years ago. Reine calms him, and he visits Kotori before heading to the hospital to see Mana and Origami. Unable to meet Mana, Shido speaks with Origami, who attempts to draw him closer. As he leaves her room in the late evening, Origami reveals her intention to kill the flame Spirit to avenge her parents' death five years ago, explaining her reason for joining AST.
