Ep. 2: Shido Fails to Impress Nia, Leading to a Manga Creation Challenge
Shido’s efforts to win Nia’s affection through roleplaying and gaming fail, prompting Ratatoskr to submit an amateur manga to force her reading it. Rasiel reveals this plan to Nia, who accepts the challenge. The Spirits draw practice sketches of Shido to select the illustration team, with Natsumi as head artist and the Yamai twins and Origami assisting. Shido and Kotori visit Takajo, Nia’s estranged friend, leading Kotori to suspect Rasiel exposes dark thoughts, though Shido remains confident. Meanwhile, Kurumi asks Nia about destroying the Spirit of Origin. Nia explains direct combat is impossible, but Kurumi considers time travel. Natsumi finishes the manga but collapses from exhaustion, while the other Spirits confirm their festival preparations are complete.
