Meanwhile, Shido regains consciousness at Ratatoskr’s underground base after Reine confirms his powers are stabilizing. He greets the Spirits and learns Kotori is in exam room 2. Upon entering, Shido finds Kotori attempting to strip Mana. The pair explains they are conducting a checkup to determine if Mana’s body can recover from DEM’s magical treatment. Despite Mana screaming for assistance as Kotori aggressively persists with the examination, Shido quietly exits the room.

Shido Fails to Impress Nia, Leading to a Manga Creation Challenge

Shido’s efforts to win Nia’s affection through roleplaying and gaming fail, prompting Ratatoskr to submit an amateur manga to force her reading it. Rasiel reveals this plan to Nia, who accepts the challenge. The Spirits draw practice sketches of Shido to select the illustration team, with Natsumi as head artist and the Yamai twins and Origami assisting. Shido and Kotori visit Takajo, Nia’s estranged friend, leading Kotori to suspect Rasiel exposes dark thoughts, though Shido remains confident. Meanwhile, Kurumi asks Nia about destroying the Spirit of Origin. Nia explains direct combat is impossible, but Kurumi considers time travel. Shido seals Nia by kissing her, restoring her. The group watches the sunrise, discussing their origins and humanity.

Shido’s group rushes to the ship but encounters Westcott, who traps them in a dark void while he confronts Woodman.
